Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Otis Gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikey Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Otis Gein!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikey Kim!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gein fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kim throws a head kick but Gein moves out of range.
Otis Gein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mikey Kim hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
