The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fring tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Temujin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Temujin.
Temujin scores with a spinning back kick!
Fring tries to score a power double leg takedown but Temujin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fring somewhat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fring is defended easily by Temujin.

Fring drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
You can see the frustration on Temujin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Temujin gets back to half guard.

Fring seems to be working for a kimura but Temujin defends the submission attempt.
Temujin is concentrating on defense, preventing Fring from advancing position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
