The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burton takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Castle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Burton sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Castle somewhat.

Castle throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Burton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Castle is in Burton's guard.
Burton looks winded!
Burton wants to sweep here but Castle controlling him for the moment.

Castle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Castle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Castle working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Burton's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Castle throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Castle is working Burton over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Castle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Castle stands up over Burton, holding on to his feet. Castle throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Burton is out cold! Castle lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
