Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Frederick Barbarossa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 1, fighting out of London, Fiodor Jemelianko!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barbarossa clinches up against the cage.
Barbarossa pushes Jemelianko back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Barbarossa struggles to land a body shot inside as Jemelianko controls his hands.
Barbarossa tries to throw a body punch but Jemelianko avoids it by throwing Barbarossa back against the cage.
Barbarossa lands a nice shot to the body.
Jemelianko blocks a body shot from Barbarossa.
Barbarossa tries to work over Jemelianko's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Jemelianko working hard to break the clinch.
Jemelianko is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Barbarossa is defending well.

Jemelianko prevents Barbarossa from breaking the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jemelianko has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Barbarossa after a bit of a struggle.
Frederick Barbarossa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fiodor Jemelianko.
Barbarossa is trying to break the clinch but Jemelianko has him pressed against the cage.

Jemelianko turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Jemelianko is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Barbarossa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Barbarossa stops Jemelianko from passing to mount.

Jemelianko goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Barbarossa has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jemelianko but great work by Barbarossa.
Barbarossa tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Jemelianko tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jemelianko striking from the bottom but nothing landed.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jemelianko manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Barbarossa decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barbarossa moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Barbarossa looks to land a combination. Jemelianko sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Jemelianko walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jemelianko throws a leg kick that misses.
Barbarossa drops his hands momentarily and Jemelianko takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Barbarossa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jemelianko.
A decent looking cross lands there for Barbarossa.
Barbarossa misses with a few strikes there.
An inside leg kick lands from Barbarossa.
Barbarossa lands with a right hand.
Jemelianko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Barbarossa.
Barbarossa throws a series of punches but Jemelianko avoids them all with ease.
A shot to the liver by Barbarossa. Beautiful body shot.
Barbarossa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jemelianko finds it's way round the side to connect with Barbarossa's head.
Jemelianko on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Barbarossa scores with a three punch combo!
Barbarossa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Barbarossa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jemelianko.
Barbarossa is looking to land body kicks.
Jemelianko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barbarossa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Barbarossa missing with a left hand there. Jemelianko was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Good leg kick by Jemelianko there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Barbarossa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jemelianko takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Frederick Barbarossa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jemelianko walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jemelianko is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barbarossa.
Jemelianko fails to land the takedown.
Jemelianko shoots in but Barbarossa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Barbarossa throws a big shot that misses.
Barbarossa scores with a jab to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jemelianko avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Barbarossa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jemelianko circles away quickly and effectively.
Jemelianko jabs Barbarossa right on the nose. Barbarossa blinks but takes it well.
Barbarossa throws a leg kick that misses.
Barbarossa connects with a looping right hand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Barbarossa lands a slapping body shot.
Jemelianko takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jemelianko looks winded!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Barbarossa checks a leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jemelianko circles away from the clinch attempt.

Barbarossa feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jemelianko sprawling to the canvas! Jemelianko rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Barbarossa finish him?!


Jemelianko is rocked!


It looks like Fiodor Jemelianko has been cut.
Barbarossa lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Jemelianko up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Barbarossa from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Jemelianko's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frederick Barbarossa!
Frederick Barbarossa very nearly forgot to thank Just Fight (Everything 7$) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
