Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fuego Salsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Rutecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutecki has chosen Remember the Name as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutecki lets loose with a powerful body kick. Salsa will feel that in the morning.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rutecki shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Salsa eats them both and turns towards Rutecki to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rutecki has a hand on Salsa's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Salsa takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Salsa has control of Rutecki's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rutecki regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Salsa swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rutecki is now in Salsa's guard. A big mistake from Salsa there, giving up the dominant position!

That's time! Salsa's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Rutecki smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Rutecki fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Salsa.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rutecki lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Salsa has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Salsa and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
