PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pile Driver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Charcoal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Driver comes to the cage accompanied by my way. Mr Charcoal has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Pile Driver's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charcoal cracks Driver with a good jab.
Driver feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Charcoal's calf.

Driver gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Driver buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Driver ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Charcoal ducks under a wild hook from Driver.
Driver avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Driver checks a low kick from Charcoal.
A shot to the liver by Driver. Beautiful body shot.
Driver looks to throw the jab but Charcoal is out of range.
Charcoal throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Driver counters with a nice low kick that buckles Charcoal's knee momentarily.
Good leg kick by Driver there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Driver misses with a looping right.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Charcoal waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Driver.
Charcoal throws the left hand but Driver avoids the punch easily.
Charcoal checks a leg kick.
Charcoal closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Driver misses with a body kick.
Charcoal ducks under a wild hook from Driver.

Charcoal shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Driver's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Charcoal trying to control but Driver is working from the bottom.

Driver is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Charcoal frees his head nicely. Oh but Driver has switched to an armbar! Charcoal is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
