Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Price!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Price shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Price wants to finish this one by submission but Cesna is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Price.

Price is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Cesna is surviving well by controlling Price's body position as best he can.

Price is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cesna doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Price.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cesna escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Price gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cesna wants to control but Price is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Price closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Cesna wants to get back to full guard but Price has passed into side control.
Price takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Price is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cesna can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Cesna is in all sorts of trouble here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vadim Cesna will probably get the nod.
