Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joaquin Saez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexander Mann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joaquin Saez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Saez tries to work over Mann's front leg with a kick but Mann checks it.

Mann gets a clinch.
Mann is trying to stall.
Saez goes for a takedown attempt but Mann pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Mann has taken the fight to the clinch.

Mann lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Saez makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Saez.
Mann will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mann looking to sit in guard and control but Saez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Saez trying to control the position from guard on top but Mann is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Saez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Saez throws a big elbow that misses.
Saez landing with the ground and pound.
Saez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Mann is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Saez's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Saez connects with a nice short shot to Mann's temple.
Mann is refusing to be controlled, as Saez sits in half guard.

Mann pushes Saez off looking to stand but Saez dives back in and keeps control.
Saez stalling.
Saez seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Saez lands with a punch from half guard.
Saez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mann is trying to stand.

Mann is looking to improve his position.
Saez is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Saez lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The referee warns Mann that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Saez lands a big shot there that rocks Mann but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Mann is rocked!
Saez softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Mann is out cold! Saez jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
