Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Dunham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nate Coleman!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Dean Styles and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coleman closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dunham's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Dunham is trying to control the position but Coleman postures up.
Coleman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Coleman is in close to Dunham's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Coleman trying to control but Dunham is working from the bottom.
Coleman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Coleman wants to pass the guard but Dunham is keeping the position.
Coleman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coleman keeping moving, preventing Dunham from controlling successfully.
Coleman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dunham tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Dunham ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dunham leaves Coleman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dunham tries to close the distance and clinch up but Coleman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dunham tries to work over Coleman's front leg with a kick but Coleman checks it.

Coleman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Dunham moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Coleman looking to sit in guard and control but Dunham gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Coleman throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Coleman wants to hit a switch here but Dunham passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Coleman there!

Dunham is really struggling to control Coleman but he's trying to hold on to the position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Coleman can do anything to dispel that myth.
Coleman is desperately trying to improve his position but Dunham has a good base and remains in mount.

Coleman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Coleman tries to lock up and control but Dunham gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Coleman is breathing heavily.
Coleman might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dunham haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
You get the feeling that Coleman really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Dunham will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Oh Dunham is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Coleman lands a couple of good shots and Dunham has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Dunham manages to reverse the position and now he's in Coleman's guard. Nice work there by Dunham.
Coleman looking for a sweep. Not yet Coleman, not yet.
Coleman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dunham is controlling him.
Dunham seems to have got his legs back now.

Dunham wants to get up but he can't break Coleman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Coleman wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Dunham manages to pass to side control.
Dunham thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Coleman's head.
Coleman landing rabbit punches to the side of Dunham's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.
Coleman looks like he's trying to stand up.

Dunham won't let Coleman get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I think Coleman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
