Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Braun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pits Guinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Guinto.
Guinto scores with a one two! Braun had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Guinto connects with a crisp jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Braun misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Guinto tries to clinch up.

Braun moves into the clinch successfully.

Guinto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Guinto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Braun swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Braun takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Guinto instigates a clinch.

Guinto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Braun tries to clinch up.

Guinto fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Braun, pushing him back against the cage.
Braun tries for a takedown but Guinto manages to get underhooks.

Guinto jumps into guard, dragging Braun to the mat.

Guinto wants to stand and escape but Braun is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Alex Braun just wasn't active enough.
Braun dives in and grabs Guinto's left leg, looking for a takedown. Guinto pushes down on Braun's head and hops out.
Guinto is looking to clinch but Braun is avoiding it.

Guinto jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Braun throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Guinto was covering up waiting for the punch and Braun finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Braun is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Guinto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Braun. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Braun is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Guinto will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Braun is riding his opponent, not letting Guinto buck him off.

Guinto is trying to defend against the choke here but Braun has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Braun Tightens the hold and Guinto taps out furiously! Braun displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Alex Braun!
