The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Average throws a leg kick that misses.

Average closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jones Iii to the mat! Jones Iii manages to get full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Average drops back looking for a leg! Jones Iii is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones Iii manages to kick Average off! Average jumps back into Jones Iii's guard.
Average looking to pass the guard.
Average has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Average drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Average jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jones Iii keeping moving, preventing Average from controlling successfully.

Average chips away with some ground and pound.
Average stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones Iii swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jones Iii looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Average trying to control but Jones Iii is working from the bottom.
Average forces his way into half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Average seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Jones Iii is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
