Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tero Nuppi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrence Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Meek Mill - Actin up. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tero Nuppi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terrence Williams!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuppi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nuppi wants it to stay on the feet.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nuppi wants to clinch up but Williams keeps it at a distance.
Terrence Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nuppi stuffs the takedown attempt from Williams. Williams gets slowly back to his feet.
Tero Nuppi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terrence Williams.
Nuppi misses with a two punch combination.
Nuppi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williams pinned against the cage. Williams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Nuppi gets caught flat footed, as Williams shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Williams wants to control from the top but Nuppi keeps moving.
Nuppi trying to keep a closed guard but Williams is proving a slippery customer.

Williams shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Williams showed some decent athleticism there.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Nuppi is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Williams works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Williams throws an elbow but Nuppi slips to the side and avoids it well.
Sloppy strikes there by Williams.
Williams slows the pace down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams trying to control the action but Nuppi is working from the bottom.
Williams looks up at the clock and then as Nuppi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Williams smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Nuppi takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Williams in side control, throwing shots but Nuppi defends.
Nuppi is letting Williams control him for a moment.

Nuppi on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Nuppi is not content to let Williams control the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Williams throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Nuppi works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nuppi is looking for a sweep. Williams is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nuppi has hold of Williams's hands but Williams slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Williams shoots in for a double leg but Nuppi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Williams tries for a takedown but Nuppi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Williams shoots in but no luck this time.
Tero Nuppi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terrence Williams.

The fight stays on the outside here - Nuppi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Williams dives in and grabs Nuppi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nuppi pushes down on Williams's head and hops out.
Nuppi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side.

Williams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nuppi pinned against the cage. Nuppi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Williams fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nuppi sprawls well initially but Williams persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Williams slows the pace down in half guard.
Williams thows a huge punch but Nuppi dodges it nicely.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Williams in particular looking to stall.
Williams has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Nuppi is refusing to be controlled, as Williams sits in half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Terrence Williams was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Nuppi tries a head kick but it misses.
Nuppi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nuppi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Nuppi tries to clinch but Williams moves out of range.
Nuppi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Williams takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nuppi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Nuppi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Williams throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nuppi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Terrence Williams wasn't active enough on the ground.
Williams shoots for a double leg takedown but Nuppi sprawls well. He's pushed Williams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nuppi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Williams.

Williams changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nuppi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Williams tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Nuppi avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Williams.

Terrence Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Terrence Williams is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Terrence Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
