The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pop changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcdevett tries to avoid it but Pop manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcdevett to the ground. Mcdevett escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pop looks to land a right hand but Mcdevett moved out of range.
Mcdevett fails with an attempt to clinch.
