Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robert Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Tekotte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tekotte gets tackled into the cage by Adams. Adams maintains the clinch.
Adams jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tekotte walks away with a smile on his face. Adams gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Tekotte closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tekotte lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Adams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Blake Tekotte has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Tekotte feints and as Adams raises his hands in defense, Tekotte changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Adams is looking to sweep but instead, Tekotte has passed into half guard.
Tekotte takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Adams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tekotte seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Adams does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Robert Adams will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
