PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tenho Tuisku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arvi Rausku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rausku is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Notkea Rotta - Taas Lähtee Taju . Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rausku blocks a jab.
Tuisku fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rausku looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rausku changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tuisku tries to avoid it but Rausku manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tuisku to the ground. Tuisku escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tuisku dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rausku looks for a takedown but Tuisku sprawls well.
Tuisku swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tuisku jabs Rausku right on the nose. Rausku blinks but takes it well.
Rausku closes the distance and clinches up with Tuisku, looking for a takedown. Rausku pushes Tuisku against the cage but Tuisku circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tenho Tuisku has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arvi Rausku.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tuisku bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Arvi Rausku has been cut.
Rausku displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tuisku throws out the jab.

Rausku dives in and scores a takedown into Tuisku's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Tuisku has momentary wrist control but Rausku slips an elbow through the middle.
Rausku throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tuisku works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rausku wants to control from the top but Tuisku keeps moving.
Rausku working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rausku accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tuisku connects with the punch.

That kick from Tuisku tenderised Rausku's leg. Rausku is trying to keep his angry face on.
Rausku has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tuisku.
Rausku swings for the body but Tuisku moves out of range.

Rausku looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Tuisku lands a leg kick that knocks Rausku off balance momentarily.

Tuisku cracks the inside of Rausku's front leg.
Tuisku lands a nice hook to Rausku's body. Rausku takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Rausku swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tuisku moves into range and connects with a jab.
Tuisku connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Rausku looks winded!
Rausku needs to keep his hands up - Tuisku had a free shot at his head there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tuisku feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rausku sprawling to the canvas! Rausku rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tuisku finish him?!

Rausku is rocked!

Tuisku cracks Rausku with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tuisku has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rausku to stand back up!
Rausku is still on wobbly legs! Can Tuisku finish him?
Rausku is aggressively charging in as Tuisku backs up avoiding any damage. Tuisku tosses out a jab and Rausku runs right into it face first! Rausku is out cold! Tuisku dropped down on all fours and is barking in Rausku's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
