Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Esperanza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Punchy Mcsmashenstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Esperanza pushes off an throws an elbow but Mcsmashenstein leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Esperanza here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jimmy Esperanza.
Well Esperanza has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
