Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Beavis Binelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Strong instigates a clinch.

Binelli breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Binelli slips a jab and a cross from Strong.
Beavis Binelli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Strong has Binelli up against the cage in a clinch.
Strong pushes Binelli back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Strong breaks the clinch.
Binelli looks to land a combination. Strong sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Strong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Binelli.
Binelli looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Strong moves into the clinch.

Strong manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Strong looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Strong seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Strong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Binelli is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Strong takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Binelli is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Strong is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Binelli is surviving well by controlling Strong's body position as best he can.
Binelli is looking to get to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Brett Strong dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Binelli looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Strong is fending him off so far but Binelli persists. Nope, Strong circles away and we're back to standing.

Strong decides to pull guard.

Strong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Binelli is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Strong has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Binelli doesn't defend quickly enough and Strong has managed to lock this one up! Can Binelli escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Strong on a fantastic submission victory.
