Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dario Brkic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelvin Tse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dario Brkic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kelvin Tse!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brkic fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tse checks it well.

Brkic shoots in and bounces Tse off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Brkic wants to pass the guard but Tse is keeping the position.
Tse wants to stand and escape but Brkic is having none of it.
Tse is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Brkic throwing strikes from guard but Tse blocks nicely.
Brkic working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tse's head.
Tse bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brkic's guard.

Brkic is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tse is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brkic striking off his back but it's not causing Tse any problems.

Brkic is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Tse is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Brkic is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tse is aware though and is defending well.

Brkic had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tse defends it easily.

Brkic has an active guard here but Tse has managed to pass into half guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tse lands a nice short elbow.

Tse stands up out of the half guard.

Tse closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tse is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Tse tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Brkic.

Brkic is defending against the submission attempts here by Tse.
Tse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brkic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tse decides to return to a standing position.
Brkic fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brkic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tse sprawls well. Tse wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brkic gets slowly back to his feet.
Tse stuffs the takedown.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tse shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Tse decides to stand and escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kelvin Tse will probably get the nod.

Brkic with a lazy takedown attempt

and Tse counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Brkic pushes Tse off and gets back to his feet.
Brkic does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Dario Brkic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brkic throws a low kick but it's checked well by Tse.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tse.
Kelvin Tse has got the better of the ground game so far.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tse works to advance to full mount. Brkic defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Tse is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Brkic to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Brkic shrugs it off.
Brkic bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Tse wants to stand up but Brkic is controlling him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tse is on top in guard.

Tse trying to control but Brkic is working from the bottom.
Brkic can't keep his opponent in guard - Tse advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Brkic is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tse pulls his head out easily.
Brkic pushes Tse off but Tse dives into side control.
Brkic tries to buck Tse off but Tse is having none of it.
Brkic is letting Tse control him for a moment.

Brkic tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Tse trying to control but Brkic is having none of it.
Brkic is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tse can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brkic is looking to escape.
Tse with a couple of short strikes.
Tse scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Brkic?

Tse lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Tse trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Tse tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Brkic is looking to get to half guard.
Brkic is working hard here to advance position.
Tse controlling the pace for now.
The referee warns Brkic that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Brkic is wriggling around trying to escape.

Kelvin Tse showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Brkic wants to take a breather but Tse is having none of it.
Tse pushes Brkic off looking to stand but Brkic dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Brkic not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tse wants to improve his position but Brkic is controlling well.
Brkic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tse keeps working.

Tse is holding on to half guard well.
Tse avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Brkic.
Tse controlling the position for now.

Brkic is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Tse regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Brkic.
Brkic throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Brkic postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Brkic drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tse looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tse looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tse!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brkic is looking for a sweep.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dario Brkic showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Tse has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
