Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nicomedo Lotario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominick Leal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leal is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bate Pesadão - Pregador Luo. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leal misses with a head kick.

Lotario pushes Leal up against the cage in a clinch.
Lotario tries to pull guard but Leal won't allow it.
Leal lands a knee to the head.

Leal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lotario darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Well, if Lotario is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Lotario is working for a kimura but Leal is defending it quite comfortably.

Leal tries to kick Lotario off but Lotario keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The referee asks Lotario politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lotario prefers to stall for the moment though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nicomedo Lotario.
Leal feints and then cracks Lotario's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lotario down.

Leal throws a sloppy head kick and Lotario moves out of range easily.
Lotario tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Leal swivels and escapes.

and Lotario decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Leal's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
