And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Rick Sharpie!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharpie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Sharpie. No joy for Jigster on that attempt.
Sharpie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sharpie fails with the takedown.
Sharpie avoids the body shot from Jigster.
Sharpie falls off balance throwing a combination

and Jigster counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Sharpie misses with a knee to the head.

Jigster manages to pull guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Jigster working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sharpie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sharpie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jigster doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Jigster wants to improve his position but instead Sharpie has moved into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jigster tries to roll over but Sharpie keeps him under control.
Jigster is trying to maintain the position but Sharpie is very close to passing his half guard.

Anderson Jigster has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Sharpie throws a head kick that misses.
Jigster shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sharpie defends it nicely.
Jigster lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sharpie circles away quickly and effectively.
Sharpie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Anderson Jigster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Sharpie.
Jigster lands a leg kick that knocks Sharpie off balance momentarily.
Jigster fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sharpie avoids it really well and circles away.

Sharpie throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jigster blocks it with crossed arms.
Jigster using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sharpie has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That was a close round but I would say that Anderson Jigster will probably get the nod.

Jigster shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sharpie but Sharpie pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Rick Sharpie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sharpie leaves Jigster with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jigster ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jigster no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Anderson Jigster will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Anderson Jigster.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jigster, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
