Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Menwasynh's waist but Menwasynh gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.
Menwasynh misses with a few strikes there.
Menwasynh scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Jones checks the leg kick nicely there.
Menwasynh stalks Jones and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jones's face. Jones staggers backwards, shaken.
A clash of legs there as Jones blocks the low kick.
Menwasynh throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jones throws a head kick but Menwasynh moves out of range.
Menwasynh throws a right and a left that both miss.
A big left from Jones misses.
Jones fails with the takedown.
Sloppy strikes from Menwasynh. Those never looked like landing.

Jones forces Menwasynh back against the cage and clinches.
Menwasynh is trying to break free.
Jones keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Menwasynh's efforts to push away.

Jones manages to pull guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Jones is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Menwasynh frees his head nicely. Oh but Jones has switched to an armbar! Menwasynh is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
