Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Helmut Doerner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marijo Palavra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Doerner might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Balls to the Wall by Accept. Marijo Palavra acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palavra closes the distance and clinches.
Palavra lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Doerner gets full guard.
Doerner utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Palavra throwing strikes but missing.
Doerner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Palavra is one step ahead there.

Palavra is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Palavra is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Palavra has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Doerner doesn't defend quickly enough and Palavra has managed to lock this one up! Can Doerner escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Palavra on a fantastic submission victory.
