Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Turpa Jallu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jallu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jallu throws a head kick that Wallace semi-blocks.

It looks like Rodney Wallace has been cut.
Jallu lands with a thumping leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wallace.
Jallu throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jallu should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown but Jallu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jallu drops his hands momentarily and Wallace takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wallace.

Wallace looking to score a takedown here. Jallu is defending well but Wallace drives through and ends up in Jallu's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Wallace trying to control the position from guard on top but Jallu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wallace seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Rodney Wallace just wasn't active enough.
Jallu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Wallace closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jallu to the mat! Jallu manages to get full guard.

Jallu is working an open guard so Wallace takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Jallu moves out of range as Wallace throws a body kick.

Jallu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wallace slips a jab and a cross from Jallu.
Wallace will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Wallace takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Wallace dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jallu slaps away a takedown attempt from Wallace, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Jallu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wallace dives in and grabs Jallu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jallu pushes down on Wallace's head and hops out.

and Jallu counters with a slapping leg kick.

and Jallu makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jallu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Jallu throws a sloppy head kick and Wallace moves out of range easily.
Wallace blocks a head kick by Jallu.

Wallace drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jallu is looking to regain half guard here but Wallace keeps moving and retains side control.

Wallace tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wallace has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A close round but Turpa Jallu will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Jallu - that will leave a mark!
Wallace avoids the head kick by Jallu.
Rodney Wallace is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jallu misses with a combination

and Wallace counters with a shoot takedown. Jallu fights it but they end up in guard.
Wallace looking to sit in guard and control but Jallu gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Wallace has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jallu should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Wallace has tightened it up now! Jallu should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
