Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan comes to the cage accompanied by Gangnam Style. Richard Perez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez digs a good hook to Jordan's body.
A jab from Perez finds it's way through Jordan's defenses.
Perez cracks Jordan with a good jab.
Jordan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Perez.
Perez lands a jab.
Perez with a hook.
Perez connects with the punch.
Perez scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jordan in his tracks.
Perez cracks Jordan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Perez lands with a hook. Jordan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Perez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jordan on the side of the head.

Jordan shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Perez is staying active underneath Jordan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Perez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jordan pulls his head out easily.

Perez pushes a forearm under Jordan's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jordan is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Richard Perez decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
