Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jorma Katkeroinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominick Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dominick Cruz was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katkeroinen scores with a sloppy right hand. Cruz should have avoided that one.
No luck for Cruz with that takedown attempt.

Katkeroinen takes the fight into the clinch.
Katkeroinen landing knees to the head.

It looks like Dominick Cruz has been cut.
Cruz can't break the clinch.
Katkeroinen utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Katkeroinen pushes Cruz back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Katkeroinen lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Cruz backwards.

Katkeroinen lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Cruz jumps guard but Katkeroinen stands there with Cruz around his waist. Cruz gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Cruz is trying to break the clinch but Katkeroinen has him pressed against the cage.
Cruz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Katkeroinen walks away with a smile on his face. Cruz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jorma Katkeroinen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dominick Cruz.

Katkeroinen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Cruz shoots in looking for a takedown but Katkeroinen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cruz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cruz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Katkeroinen scores with a hook to the body. Cruz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Katkeroinen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Cruz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Cruz is still on wobbly legs! Can Katkeroinen finish him?
Katkeroinen ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Cruz seems to have recovered his senses.

Katkeroinen lands a jab to Cruz's midsection.
Cruz doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Katkeroinen lands with a big left! Cruz is wobbled badly! Katkeroinen comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Cruz to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
