Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lay Pray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith has chosen See my Tears as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pray dodges the punch combination from Smith.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pray.
Smith's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Smith duly obliges.

Pray has managed to clinch.
Pray has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Smith is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Smith gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pray.

Pray goes for a takedown attempt but Smith pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Pray has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Smith stuffs the takedown attempt from Pray. Pray gets slowly back to his feet.
Pray takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pray shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smith pinned against the cage. Smith gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pray shoots in for a double leg but Smith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pray is breathing heavily.

Pray is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Smith.

Pray shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Smith is trying to defend but Pray finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Pray is working for a kimura but Smith is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pray lands a nice short elbow.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Smith tries to bum rush Pray with a series of wild strikes but Pray uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Smith counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Smith works over Pray's head and body with a nice combination.

Pray closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Smith did well to prevent Pray getting side control.

Pray wants to pass the guard but Smith is defending well.

Pray wants to work for an arm triangle but Smith is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Pray throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Smith is in trouble now - Pray has advanced to mount!

Smith is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smith can do anything to dispel that myth.

Pray wants to control the pace but Smith is squirming around nicely.
Lay Pray overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Pray lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Smith is still in real trouble! Can Pray finish him?
Pray fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Pray postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Smith badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Pray around the waist but Pray pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Pray is the winner by TKO! Pray jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
