With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robert Hutton!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hutton is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hardy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hardy looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Hardy throws a right and a left that both miss.
That kick from Hutton tenderised Hardy's leg. Hardy is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hutton throws a nice head kick!
Hutton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hardy sprawls well. Hardy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hutton gets slowly back to his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hutton.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hardy bucks up and tries to throw Hutton off but instead Hutton has got his back!
Hardy rolls, trying to escape but Hutton keeps control of the position.

Hardy is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Hutton gets his way!

Hutton is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hardy defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Hardy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hutton is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hutton has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hardy is trying to keep an underhook but Hutton manages to get the takedown into half guard.

You can see the frustration on Hardy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hardy pushes Hutton back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Robert Hutton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Hardy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Hardy has closed the distance and engaged Hutton in a clinch.
Hutton is pressed up against the cage. Hardy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hutton down to the mat. Hutton avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Hutton closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hutton lands in his opponent's guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hardy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hutton as he jumps to the side.
Hutton fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hardy throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hutton. Hardy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hardy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hutton.
Hardy looks to land a combination. Hutton sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Hardy stuffs the takedown.

Hardy lands a jab-cross combination.
Hutton shoots in looking for a takedown. Hardy tries to sprawl out of it but Hutton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hardy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Hutton counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hardy is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Hutton uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hardy.
Robert Hutton is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Hardy gets caught napping as Hutton dives in and scores a takedown. Hardy manages to retain guard.

Robert Hutton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hutton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
