Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Benedict Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz tries to clinch up.
Banshees misses with a low kick.
Banshees is looking to slow Cruz down with leg kicks.
Cruz tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Banshees with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Cruz blocks a head kick by Banshees.
Banshees scores with a jab. Cruz acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Cruz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cruz tries for a takedown but Banshees sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Banshees pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Banshees throws a quick inside leg kick.
Banshees keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Siouxsie Banshees seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cruz lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Cruz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Banshees as he avoids it easily.
Cruz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cruz doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Banshees chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Cruz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Banshees manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cruz checks a leg kick nicely.
Banshees misses with a wild body shot.
Cruz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Cruz walks into a straight right hand from Banshees.
Cruz throws a hook to the side of Banshees's head but Banshees sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cruz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Banshees can pounce on him.
Banshees is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Banshees swats away the attempt to clinch by Cruz.
Cruz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Banshees throws a hook but Cruz blocks it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cruz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Banshees throws a nice inside leg kick.

Good standup being displayed there by Banshees as he connects with a hook.
Banshees scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Banshees closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Cruz! Banshees dives in looking to finish! Cruz is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
