The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Luangrath has taken the fight to the clinch.
Luangrath wants to break free but Kaunas has control.
Kaunas takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Ignas Kaunas has been cut.
Luangrath has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kaunas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Luangrath walks away with a smile on his face. Kaunas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Luangrath moves into range and clinches up with Kaunas.
Luangrath tries to break the clinch but Kaunas is controlling the position.
Kaunas drops down looking for an ankle pick but Luangrath pulls his leg out and moves away.

Luangrath gets a clinch.

Luangrath is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Luangrath manages to break the clinch.

Luangrath feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kaunas's calf.
Nalin Luangrath seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Luangrath gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Luangrath tries to break the clinch but Kaunas is controlling the position.
Kaunas fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Nalin Luangrath has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ignas Kaunas.
Luangrath wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Kaunas displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Luangrath throws out the jab.

Luangrath has had enough of the clinch but Kaunas keeps him there for the moment.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kaunas on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Luangrath lands a damaging elbow.
Kaunas is looking to take this one to the mat.
Luangrath lands an uppercut.

Kaunas has clasped his hands together around Luangrath's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Luangrath is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Kaunas has hold of Luangrath's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Luangrath tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kaunas cranks the arm and Luangrath screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Luangrath, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
