The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Jong throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bilson just misses with a punch to the body.
Bilson misses with a hook.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from De Jong, right into the meat.
De Jong connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
De Jong throws a front kick aimed at Bilson's knee but Bilson avoids it well.
De Jong misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
De Jong lands with an uppercut that bounces Bilson off the cage and back into range.

A head kick from De Jong lands but Bilson takes it in his stride.
Jan De Jong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
De Jong ducks under a wild hook from Bilson.
De Jong misses with a kick to the body.
De Jong lands with a right hand.
Bilson blocks a low kick nicely.
De Jong bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

De Jong pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bilson is out of range and De Jong settles back down.

Bilson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. De Jong looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

De Jong is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bilson asserts his dominance and retains side control.

It looks like Jan De Jong has been cut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Bilson! De Jong is hurt baaadly! Bilson is firing away with more strikes - De Jong is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
