Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quintus Daedalus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yrjo Jarvinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daedalus comes to the cage accompanied by Spartacus Soundtrack. Jarvinen has chosen Frederik - Harva meistä on rautaa as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daedalus goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jarvinen turns into him and now he's in Daedalus's guard.

Jarvinen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Daedalus looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Daedalus looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Daedalus!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Jarvinen throws a right and a left that Daedalus avoids nicely.
Jarvinen moves in looking to clinch but Daedalus pushes him off.

Daedalus dives in and grabs Jarvinen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jarvinen pushes down on Daedalus's head and hops out.

Jarvinen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jarvinen wants it to stay on the feet.

Jarvinen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Daedalus shoots in looking for a takedown but Jarvinen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Daedalus's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Daedalus fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jarvinen checks it well.
Daedalus ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jarvinen is looking to chop away at Daedalus's legs.
Jarvinen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Daedalus throws a shot from downtown. Jarvinen moves away and avoids it.
Daedalus throws a leg kick which misses Jarvinen's front leg but catches the back leg as Jarvinen tries to avoid it.

Jarvinen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Daedalus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jarvinen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Daedalus stacks Jarvinen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Daedalus!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Daedalus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Daedalus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Quintus Daedalus.
I think Daedalus has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
