Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Florini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Florini has chosen Step Up- Drowning Pool as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Florini misses with a low kick.

Davies decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Davies looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Florini with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kenny Florini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Davies fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Florini sprawls well initially but Davies persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Davies stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Florini swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Florini is looking for a triangle but Davies pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Florini is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Davies knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Florini on the ground.

Florini has his foot on Davies's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davies works his way back into a safe position though.

Florini has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Davies should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Florini has tightened it up now! Davies should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
