Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fred Shudley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Van Staden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Van Staden slams his shin into Shudley's torso.
Shudley lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Van Staden tries to clinch up.
Shudley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shudley scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Van Staden doesn't seem bothered though.
Shudley goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

and Van Staden counters with a body kick that stops Shudley in his tracks momentarily.
Van Staden tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Shudley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Shudley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Van Staden's head.
Shudley lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Van Staden is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Shudley throws an overhand right that drops Van Staden like a sack of potatoes! Shudley dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
