The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dillenger swivels and escapes.
Savage misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Savage takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Dillenger.

Dillenger rushes Savage and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Dillenger breaks from the clinch.
Dillenger throws a combination. Savage tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Savage is breathing heavily.

Savage tries to keep at a distance but Dillenger has taken the fight into the clinch.

Dillenger lands a takedown into guard.
Savage has a closed guard, preventing Dillenger from standing up.

Dillenger wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Savage's closed guard. He's half up but Savage has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Savage pivots and extends the arm, Dillenger falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Savage! Well done that man!
