Slide comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Enter Sandman. Avenger Of Steel Penn is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slide shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Steel Penn sprawls well. Steel Penn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Slide gets slowly back to his feet.

Steel Penn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slide was well out of range. Poor timing from Steel Penn.
Kimbo Slide seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Steel Penn counters with an outside leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kimbo Slide. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Steel Penn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Slide stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Slide changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Steel Penn tries to avoid it but Slide manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Steel Penn to the ground. Steel Penn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Slide tries to bum rush Steel Penn with a series of wild strikes but Steel Penn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Steel Penn loads up on a big right hand but Slide slips the punch.

Steel Penn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Slide looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Steel Penn cracks Slide with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Slide looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Steel Penn finish him?

Steel Penn darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Slide's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Steel Penn before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
