The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guzman moves into the clinch successfully.

Guzman turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Guzman manages to end up in side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Chaney sneaks back into half guard.
Guzman not doing much here.
Chaney is trying to stand.
Chaney is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Chaney misses with a takedown attempt - Guzman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chaney shoots in looking for a takedown but Guzman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chaney's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Guzman feints and as Chaney raises his hands in defense, Guzman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Guzman postures up in Chaney's guard and throws a big left but Chaney blocks it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Chaney manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Guzman manages to get himself to full guard.

Chaney shoots for a takedown but Guzman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Chaney is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
