Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brooks Buford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirty Randy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buford comes to the cage accompanied by country boy. Dirty Randy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randy moves to clinch but Buford breaks away
and Buford counters with a three punch combo that has Randy backing up. Randy nods at Buford to acknowledge the strikes.
Buford fails with the takedown.
Buford throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Randy shoots in for a takedown but Buford shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Buford throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Buford misses with a jab, cross combination.
Randy doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Buford counters with a one-two to the body.
Buford throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Randy.

Buford bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Randy's head backwards.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Buford is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Randy is aware though and is defending well.

Buford is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Randy has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Randy!

Buford manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Randy manages to get himself to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Buford accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Randy wants to sweep but no luck.

Buford is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Randy sees it coming and defends easily.

Randy manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Buford jabs Randy right on the nose. Randy blinks but takes it well.

Brooks Buford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dirty Randy.

Randy shoots in for a double leg but Buford sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Randy dives in and grabs Buford's left leg, looking for a takedown. Buford pushes down on Randy's head and hops out.

Buford closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Randy's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Randy throws the left hand but Buford avoids the punch easily.
Randy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Buford was well out of range. Poor timing from Randy.

Buford misses with a takedown attempt - Randy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Randy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Buford has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Buford and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Randy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Randy wants it to stay on the feet.
Buford lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Randy backs up against the cage.
Buford throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Randy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Buford tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Randy is in Buford's guard.

Buford has instead reached around Randy's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Buford arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
