Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Lamas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Ostrowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo Lamas could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chris Ostrowski's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo Lamas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Ostrowski!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamas gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ostrowski counters with a slapping leg kick.
Lamas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ostrowski moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Ricardo Lamas has been cut.
Lamas fails with the takedown
and Ostrowski counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Ostrowski throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lamas was covering up waiting for the punch and Ostrowski finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ostrowski trying to control the position from guard on top but Lamas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ostrowski might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lamas haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Chris Ostrowski has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Ostrowski connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lamas tries for a takedown but Ostrowski circles away easily
and Ostrowski counters with a left to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Lamas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lamas dives in and grabs Ostrowski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ostrowski pushes down on Lamas's head and hops out.

Lamas closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lamas looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Ostrowski lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lamas backwards.
Lamas wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ostrowski has him pressed against the cage.
Ostrowski lands with a left to the head.

Lamas is rocked!
Ostrowski stops a takedown attempt from Lamas.
Ostrowski lands with a light punch inside.
Oh Lamas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lamas is trying to drag Ostrowski to the mat but Ostrowski just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Ostrowski throws a big uppercut that drops Lamas! More strikes from Ostrowski and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Lamas lies dazed against the cage as Ostrowski celebrates with his cornermen!
