Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vviktung Bolski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerard Link (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Link has chosen Mr. Trololo as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vviktung Bolski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gerard Link!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Link staying out of range there.
Bolski thows a body shot but no joy.
Bolski misses with a body shot
and Link counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Link counters with a crisp one two that drops Bolski! Link thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Bolski to his feet! Bolski is in big trouble!
Bolski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bolski closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Link wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Link really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bolski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Link is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bolski is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bolski is nestled in close to Link, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bolski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bolski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Link with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Link scores with a head kick. Bolski tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Link must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
