PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tike Myson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Kronos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kurt Kronos!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kronos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Myson pinned against the cage. Myson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kronos has closed the distance and engaged Myson in a clinch.
Myson trying to control the position but instead, Kronos has worked for underhooks and has pushed Myson into the cage.
Kronos has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Myson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Myson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kronos blocks it with crossed arms.
Myson has Kronos pressed against the cage, preventing Kronos from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Kronos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kronos shoots in looking for a takedown. Myson tries to sprawl out of it but Kronos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Myson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tike Myson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurt Kronos.

Myson is pressing down on Kronos's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kronos is holding on for now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kronos is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Myson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Myson's back!
Myson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Myson wants to control his opponent's hands but Kronos gets his hands free.

Kronos is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Myson knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Myson for a finish.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tike Myson.
