Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Kerr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jason Skiles!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skiles shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kerr pinned against the cage. Kerr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Skiles cracks Kerr with a right hand to the side of the head.


It looks like Mark Kerr has been cut.

Skiles is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kerr will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Skiles stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Kerr shoots in for a takedown but Skiles shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Kerr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kerr is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown by Kerr or perhaps it was just good defense by Skiles which made him look bad.
Kerr misses with a takedown attempt - Skiles sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Skiles shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Kerr is working an open guard so Skiles takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kerr manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Skiles trying to mount his opponent but Kerr defends it.
Skiles wants to control but Kerr is keeping him busy.

Skiles stands up out of the half guard.
Mark Kerr is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kerr looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Kerr is trying for a kimura here. Skiles looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Kerr wins by kimura!
