Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Melo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melo comes into the arena with Fort Minor - Remember the name blaring out of the sound system. Felipe Melo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rafael Silva's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into Melo's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Silva slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Silva looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Melo stops Silva from passing to mount.
Silva has hold of Melo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Melo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Silva cranks the arm and Melo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Melo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Rafael Silva!
