Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adin Wrenton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wrenton comes to the cage accompanied by Still Unbroken. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, Adin Wrenton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 25 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Gomez!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrenton throws a low kick, looking for Gomez's leg but Gomez calmly moves out of range.
Gomez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wrenton's waist but Wrenton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gomez off to one side.
Gomez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gomez avoids the body shot from Wrenton.
Wrenton throws a front kick aimed at Gomez's knee but Gomez avoids it well.
Gomez closes the distance and clinches up with Wrenton, looking for a takedown. Gomez pushes Wrenton against the cage but Wrenton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wrenton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gomez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wrenton.
Wrenton throws out a leg kick but Gomez moves out of range and Wrenton only half commits.

Wrenton rushes Gomez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gomez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Gomez tries to score a body lock takedown but Wrenton shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Adin Wrenton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Gomez.

Wrenton gets underhooks to prevent Gomez's takedown attempt.
Wrenton tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Gomez's elbow.
Gomez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wrenton after a bit of a struggle.

Gomez gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Wrenton seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Wrenton looking for a sweep. Not yet Wrenton, not yet.
Gomez wants to pass the guard but Wrenton is keeping the position.
Gomez postures up.
Wrenton wants to sweep but no luck.
Gomez is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Gomez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wrenton.

Gomez scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Wrenton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gomez moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wrenton throws a leg kick but Gomez sees it coming and moves out of range.
Wrenton misses with a head kick.
Wrenton wants to clinch
and Gomez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wrenton fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gomez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wrenton fails with an attempt to clinch.

Wrenton ducks right into an uppercut from Gomez.
Wrenton misses with a looping right.
Gomez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gomez checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Gomez keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Wrenton gets tackled into the cage by Gomez. Gomez maintains the clinch.
Wrenton misses with a hook to the ribs.
Gomez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Wrenton prevents it.
Wrenton tries to work over Gomez's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wrenton misses with a body punch.
Wrenton lands with a light punch inside.
Gomez is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Gomez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Wrenton prevents it.
Wrenton swings wildly with an uppercut but Gomez uses good head movement to avoid it.

Gomez tightens his grip and picks Wrenton up, before dumping him to the ground. Wrenton manages to land in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gomez wants to pass the guard but Wrenton is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Adin Wrenton will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Gomez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wrenton can pounce on him.
Wrenton misses with a body shot.
Gomez checks the leg kick nicely there.
Wrenton throws a head kick that misses.
Wrenton misses the shot to the body.
Gomez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wrenton defends it nicely.
Wrenton leaves Gomez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Gomez throws a jab when Wrenton was well out of range.
Gomez checks a leg kick.
Wrenton getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Adin Wrenton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wrenton tries a low kick but Gomez avoids it.
Wrenton smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Jose Gomez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Wrenton sends Gomez crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Wrenton is motioning to the referee to let Gomez up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
