The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dawson tries to avoid it but Martinez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dawson to the ground. Dawson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dawson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Martinez as he avoids it easily.
Martinez is looking to clinch but Dawson is avoiding it.
