Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leandro Goleador!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtis Sheppard!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheppard connects with a nice looking jab.
Sheppard throws a series of punches but Goleador moves out of range.
Sheppard misses with a two punch combination.

Goleador fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sheppard avoids it really well and circles away.

Goleador shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sheppard manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Goleador seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sheppard for as long as he can get away with.
Sheppard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Goleador. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Leandro Goleador has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Sheppard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Goleador tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sheppard manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Goleador bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Goleador has hold of Sheppard's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sheppard tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Goleador cranks the arm and Sheppard screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sheppard, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
