Ansari is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by HAM. Aziz Ansari will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ansari will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Shields looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ansari passes into half guard.
Shields looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Ansari pushes past his half guard into mount!
Ansari takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Aziz Ansari decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
