Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Con Dumas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denard Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dumas misses with a hook.
Black keeps the fight on the outside.
Dumas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Denard Black has been cut.
Dumas wants to clinch up but Black keeps it at a distance.
Dumas takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Good standup being displayed there by Black as he connects with a hook.
No joy there for Black, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dumas takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Con Dumas has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dumas moves out of range of the strikes.
Black throws a series of punches but Dumas avoids them all with ease.
Dumas lunges at Black with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Black's hand.
Black displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dumas throws out the jab.
Black uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dumas.
Dumas thows a left - swing and a miss!
Dumas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dumas takes a swing at Black's ribcage but misses.

Black avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Black loads up on a big right hand but Dumas slips the punch.
Black takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Black throws a shot from downtown. Dumas moves away and avoids it.
A big right from Black misses.
Black moves into range and connects with a jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Black misses the target.
Dumas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dumas misses with a straight right.
Black blocks a jab.
Denard Black is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dumas misses with a hook. Black ducked under it nicely.
Dumas throws a hook but Black avoids it easily.
Black ducks under a wild hook from Dumas.
Dumas jabs Black right on the nose. Black blinks but takes it well.

Black thows a body shot but no joy.
Black scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Black bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dumas misses with an uppercut. Black saw that one coming.
Dumas ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dumas looks for a takedown but Black sprawls well.
Black punishes Dumas's body with a nice straight punch.
Black fails to land with a series of punches.
Dumas misses with a hook. Black ducked under it nicely.
Black misses with a straight left.
Dumas tests Black's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Dumas throws a right hand that misses
and Black counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Con Dumas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
BOOM! Dumas lands a beautiful left hook that drops Black. Black tries to recover but Dumas is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Black lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Con Dumas!
Con Dumas is the new light heavyweight champion!
A very excited looking Con Dumas made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
