Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hassan Lamouna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Tien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamouna kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Harry Belafonte - "Banana Boat Song (Day O)". Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tien keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tien dodges the punch combination from Lamouna.
Tien dives in and grabs Lamouna's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lamouna pushes down on Tien's head and hops out.
Lamouna lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Manny Tien has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A looping hook to the body misses from Lamouna. Tien does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tien looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Lamouna!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Tien thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Tien remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

It looks like Tien might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lamouna creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Lamouna lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Lamouna has Tien pressed against the cage. Tien drops his hands and Lamouna takes advantage by unloading with a massive hook that sends Tien tumbling to the canvas! Lamouna rains down with more punches but Tien was already out! That's a highlight reel knockout for Lamouna!
