Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raze Bahamut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathieu Lemieux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mathieu Lemieux!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemieux leaves Bahamut with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lemieux shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bahamut as he avoids it easily.
Bahamut looks to score with a jab to the body but Lemieux is just out of range.

and Bahamut decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lemieux's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Lemieux wants to get back to his feet but Bahamut is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lemieux looks winded!
Lemieux has momentary wrist control but Bahamut slips an elbow through the middle.
Bahamut stands and throws Lemieux's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Bahamut prevents Lemieux from escaping the position.
Bahamut advances nicely into full mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bahamut landing strikes from the mount and Lemieux is in trouble!
Bahamut has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lemieux's face.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bahamut postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lemieux looks a forlorn figure.
Bahamut with shots to the head and body - Lemieux looks very uncomfortable down there.

Lemieux is rocked!
Bahamut postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Lemieux in real trouble here! The ref calls for Lemieux to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raze Bahamut!
