PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juan Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dos Santos comes into the arena with Sugar We Going Down blaring out of the sound system. Shamrock is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kanye West 's Stronger . The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Dos Santos has Shamrock pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dos Santos pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Shamrock tumbling to the mat - Dos Santos dives into Shamrock's guard.

Shamrock has his foot on Dos Santos 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dos Santos works his way back into a safe position though.

Dos Santos postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Shamrock is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dos Santos , into his guard.

Dos Santos is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Shamrock is aware though and is defending well.
Dos Santos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Shamrock is working Dos Santos over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Well Shamrock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
